Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has held an important meeting with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari regarding Bangalore's road and traffic.
CM Bommai held an important meeting with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari who arrived in Bangalore for the inauguration of the two-day Manthan National Inquiry Complex held in Bangalore on behalf of the Central Road Transport and Land Highways Department. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai today held a discussion with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari about road and traffic in Bengaluru at a private hotel in Bangalore.
Speaking after the meeting, Bommai said that there was a discussion about solving the traffic problem using new technology. We also discussed about Bangalore-Mysore road work. Actions will be taken as soon as possible to make a drainage system to drain the rain water.
Nitin Gadkari has instructed the officials to repair the road immediately. We discussed about elevated transport in the meeting. The meeting discussed about traveling through the ropeway. Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai informed about the discussion held in the meeting after the meeting in Bengaluru that we have discussed many highways including Shiradighat.
No date has been fixed for the inauguration of Bangalore Mysore Highway. There is still some work to be done. There is a problem of land encroachment. He said that the date of inauguration will be announced after all that is completed.
